Children's Hope continues to outreaches at the Komarivka orphanage weekly. One of our main purposes at the orphanage is to build relationships with all the children as well as teaching life skills to the older kids. Along with Kolya and Misha we held weekly meetings with the eighth and ninth graders after school.

Outreach

During this year we began to support the ongoing ministry of Safe Haven just outside of Kyiv. Anya and Bogdan, the houseparents have created a family for youth that graduate from the Kaniv Orphanage. We also began our partnership with Smile Alliance for our second home. We will begin finishing two floors of Smile House where we will open our Bridge to Life Home for children who graduate from the orphanage in Komarivka. There has been much planning and work during this year in terms of organizing and preparing for our vision of helping youth as they leave the state run orphanage system.

We also had our first intern, Lexi, from Dartmouth University come and serve in Komarivka where she taught English and ministered at the public school, the orphanage and in the community. Meisha also join in for a pre-service visit and she continues to raise support to come and serve on the field full time.
